The Practitioner’s Practice w/ Lisa Glassman
Class: Fridays @ 2:15pm

An Intermediate Level Yoga Class geared towards the community of wellness, fitness, and service practitioners, and creative individuals with flexible schedules!

The Practitioner’s Practice is a thoughtfully sequenced class designed for you to detoxify before resuming your service to the outside world.  Focused on alignment, while maintaining a sense of playfulness, this class will help to reset the body and mind, and rejuvenate the spirit. You will find strength and motivation practicing surrounded by your peers, and create deeper connections with the network of individuals helping to support the 9-5ers.

This donation-based class will be held at just the time when your schedule is empty. If you are a yoga or fitness professional, you’re busy teaching the very classes that everyone else can attend, including lunch classes. If you are in a service industry and work at night, evening classes are out and the morning feels like the middle of the night. If you provide therapy for individual clients, you are also busiest on the edges of the “typical” workday.  Mid-afternoon allows you to teach all your classes, serve all your clients, and still have the opportunity to practice yoga in a communal setting.  It is a class designed for you.  There are no other offerings in town during this time.  Welcome to YOUR community!

 Meet Lisa!

Since the age of eleven, I knew my mission in life was to be happy and help others find happiness.  The methods are ever evolving, but being able to move through life with ease allows space for clarity of the mind and expression of the spirit.  As a yoga practitioner, trainer, and coach, I believe in realizing each individual’s active potential regardless of their unique needs, condition, or environment.

After battling a number of my own injuries and watching my clients struggle with pain, I am constantly striving to develop new mechanisms to both heal and prevent injury through bodyweight strength, mobility, and balance.  As a community oriented individual, you’ll often find me bustling from one studio to the next, to client’s homes, and other centers in between. I am proud to be a part of a class that is geared towards the holistic health and well-being of my fellow service-minded individuals


Vinyasa w/ Kerrie Martin

Kerrie’s favorite description of Vinyasa yoga comes from one of her teachers Shiva Rea:  “Vinyasa yoga is an evolving form of traditional yoga that focuses on integrating breath and movement, awareness and alignment, strength and flexibility in your practice and with your daily life.”   Kerrie’s vinyasa class includes inspiring themes, elevating music, creative sun salutations, standing poses, balances, backbends, and seated postures.   She will guide you in finding the yoga shapes that feel best for your individual body. Previous yoga experience helpful. 

Meet Kerrie!


Kerrie’s yoga experience has spanned over a decade and has included practicing a variety of styles including Ashtanga, Baptiste Power Flow, Jivamukti, Restorative, and Prana Flow.  Kerrie is grateful to have been exposed to a variety of teachers and studios in Washington, DC; Boulder, CO; Los Angeles, CA; and the seacoast of New Hampshire.   Her yoga mat continues to serve as a sanctuary where she intentionally reconnects to herself, her breath, and her desire to be a catalyst for positive change in her own life, community, and the world.  She believes one of the most important elements of practicing yoga is cultivating a “zen mind” or beginner’s mind, which honors that there are always new discoveries and teachings to be learned if we remain open to receiving them.   Kerrie completed her 200 hour Vinyasa yoga teacher training at Flow yoga studio in Washington, DC and is currently pursuing her 300 hour in Prana Flow Vinyasa with Shiva Rea, Jessica Lazar, and Greg Marzullo through Flow.
