So long, self doubt

August 25, 2016by

On Monday, I start classes toward my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. I’m nervous, anxious & excited. A month ago, I was overflowing with self-confidence. Now I’m questioning my ability to balance business and school. Will I be able to attend classes, complete assignments on time, study for exams, while continuing to provide a high level of service, care & concern for my clients and the business?

On the path toward success, the only thing standing in the way is YOU! It’s that little voice inside your head telling yourself that it can’t be done, that you’ve made the wrong decision, that you’re not strong enough, smart enough, pretty enough, whatever, when in reality, you are fully capable of anything you put your heart & mind to.

The questions, then, are: Will you give 100% effort & then 100% more? Are you willing to commit yourself regardless of the consequences? Will you make whatever sacrifices it takes to accomplish the things you truly want? If your answer is yes, then you CAN accomplish any goal you set for yourself.

So ignore that voice, ditch the self-doubt & get moving. You’ve got work to do!
